Endangered Species Act Flirts With Extinction
The Bush Administration recently proposed new regulations that would cut the teeth out of the Endangered Species Act. The new rules would allow federal agencies themselves to determine whether projects will negatively affect endangered species, eliminating the independent reviews from scientists, which have been standard procedure for over 30 years. The new rules will be subject to a 30-day comment period.

Not if the Democrats have anything to say about it. He's an endangered species.

Paris Hilton's Energy Plan
Hilton launched a parody campaign ad suggesting a hybrid of energy plans from Obama and McCain. (Watch the video of her ad.)

It just may come to pass that her plan under a different package and name is adopted. Paris Hilton is no dummy, just a little goofy. She has a "Hot Plan".

Starbuck's Clover-fueled Dreams
Starbucks purchased the Coffee Equipment Company--and exclusive rights to its $11,000 Clover Brewing System--in March. The Clover, which has developed a cult following (coffee-mad "Cloveristas" laud it on Flickr and YouTube) may revolutionize the brewed coffee business.

Never could understand a $2 dollar, $3 dollar, $4 dollar and up, cup of coffee. Flavored or otherwise. In all these years, I have been in a Starbucks once and I still think McDonalds has a better breakfast and coffee deal....that's just me.
